I spent a beautiful two weeks in residency on Vashon Island, Washington. Here I made art entirely from what I picked up on the beach on my daily walks. I found rusted metal, wood debris, shells, crab claws, but primarily plastic trash, including: 25 BIC lighters, countless bottle lids, 8 tennis balls, and 93 bullet casings. Are you a beach comber? This flyer shows what I can use for arts sake.
