Commissioned by the Clackamas County Arts Alliance
Eight life-size steel figures (with aluminum and painted elements) provide directional elements near the parking lots and road leading to the library entrance. Following the theme of “going to the library,” figures are based on original sketches of library patrons, which were hand-cut out of paper before being laser cut in steel and powder-coated.

Commissioned by the city of Boise in answer to racist graffiti, mural features real Boise heroes, cultural pride symbols, circles of light, and the local landscape blended into a mosaic of humanity.

Lotus Bench
stainless steel, cast glass and acrylic discs, concrete, 8’ x 13’ x 3.5’
2006, Broomfield, CO, Budget, $17000.00
Commissioned by the Broomfield Public Arts Commission. Stainless pipe and flat stock are rolled and fabricated into framework of lotus flower. Lotus fruit is a glass casting stacked on acrylic discs that refract ambient sunlight to appear as a glowing center within the flower, and stainless steel inlay repeats the lotus petals in the concrete landing.

Sabin Garden Gate,
Sabin Elementary PTA created a teaching garden and realized the need far a gate near the garden. This gate is made of roll formed tubing, various surplus scrap pieces. A full size, reclaimed pick-axe is mounted to the inside of the gate, and is the latch when closed. The powder-coated steel gates span a 14 foot opening, are 9 ft high with a 13 ft high arch.
